This purse has one outer pocket, one inner pocket and center divider. You have a choice of two closures: button and loop (pictured) or flap with hook and loop tape closure. This is an easy to make project for yourself or for gifts! This is very similar to the “designer quilted bags” that are popular today.
Fabric & Notions: For bag with inside and outside pockets and single button closure, you will need the following:
3/4 yd. double-faced quilted fabric
1/2 yd. coordinating border print
One button: 5/8”-3/4” diameter OR 2” strip of hook and loop tape
Coordinating thread
*Note: Size 16 needle may also be helpful when stitching through multiple layers
Also helpful: 12 ½” square-up rule for cutting!
